Sheila’s Chestnut Stuffing:

Add 1 cup of sugar to bowl

Add ~4 cups of boiling water to bowl, covering nuts and let sit for 1 hour +

Arrange chestnuts on cookie sheet and bake for 30 minutes at 350° F.

Allow to cool a few minutes, peel and enjoy.

Mitzie’s Sugar Roasted Chestnuts:
